Moloka’i is the fifth largest of the Hawaiian Islands. It stretches 38-miles end to end and is only 10-miles wide. A fringe of ancient fishponds are scattered along its coastline. The highest mountain is Mauna Kamakou at 4,970 feet.
Molokai’s internationally legendary man of prayer was Father Damien, the Belgian Roman Catholic priest who devoted his life to the victims of Hansen’s disease (leprosy).
